Good Things End
I’ve been contemplating what to say about the decisions that have been made at Oath regarding this platform. These things tend to evolve pretty quickly in the face of backlash — but I’m not sure there’s anyone left at the tumblr PR/Marketing offices who isn’t a husk installed by Verizon, so it looks as though this artificial intelligence driven comedy is going to continue.
Tumblr has meant so much to so many of us for so many years now — and now we’re at the mercy of some plug and play HAL9000? I’m sorry guys, I’m just not going to hang around for it.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be offloading / exporting the moodboard and hosting it somewhere else on my own dime. I encourage everyone else to do the same.
